The Philadelphia Eagles had the best record in the league at one point.
But after losing four of their last five, it seems like they’re crumbling right before our eyes.
Notably, Nick Sirianni hasn’t looked as confident as usual, and that has also gotten to the players.
That’s not much of a surprise, at least, according to former NFL veteran Clay Harbor.
Talking on The Rally, he stated that there’s panic in Philadelphia, adding that the players start to panic whenever they know their coaches are panicking as well.
“When coaches are calm, players are calm. When coaches start to panic, the players start to panic. There’s panic starting to build in Philadelphia,” Harbor said.

The former player questioned Sirianni’s decision to replace Sean Desai with Matt Patricia, stating that they’ve been worse defensively since that personnel shift and explained that you needed to be 100% sure that such a move would only make them better.
The Eagles’ defense has been among the worst in the league over the past five weeks or so, even losing games despite putting up 30+ points.
This team has more than enough talent to turn things around, but it seems like they’ve lost all confidence in themselves and their teammates.
There’s been a major disconnect in the offense, and the play-calling has been questionable, to say the least.
Everybody wants to enter the playoffs with some positive momentum, and that couldn’t be further from the case with this team right now.
Then again, anything can happen in a win-or-go-home scenario, and they already have some postseason experience, but they don’t look like a legitimate threat to go the distance this season.
