The stage is set for what could be another epic battle in the AFC Championship Game, with the up-and-coming Baltimore Ravens, led by NFL MVP favorite Lamar Jackson, taking on the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs and superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

This playoff showdown at M&T Bank Stadium with a trip to the Super Bowl in Las Vegas, Nevada, will almost certainly be the most anticipated game of the weekend, as it will be a classic clash between a young team on the rise and a veteran team with all the experience in these moments.

Although the Chiefs can never be counted out with Mahomes under center, the Ravens head into this game as the favorite, with Jackson being the main reason for many believing that it is Baltimore’s time to shine.

Veteran sportscaster Jim Gray recently spoke with NFL legend Larry Fitzgerald about Jackson and how he believes there’s no stopping the presumptive MVP during these playoffs via SiriusXM NFL Radio.

“It’s going to be pretty hard to avoid a loss when you are playing against Lamar Jackson,” Gray said. “How stupendous is this guy? He records his third; in basketball, it’s called a triple-double, and in football, a double-triple. That’s where you run for over 100 yards, which he did, and throw obviously for over 100 yards, and he’s just so special to watch. There’s no stopping this guy.”

With Jackson playing at an MVP level and his team firing on all cylinders on both sides of the football, the Ravens will be incredibly tough to beat on their home field on Sunday.

It’ll be interesting to see if Andy Reid and Mahomes have any magic left in them to pull off the upset on the road in order to advance to the Super Bowl to defend their title.
