The San Francisco 49ers are playing like the best team in the world right now.
Kyle Shanahan’s squad made a huge statement by taking down the Philadelphia Eagles in front of their home fans.
It wasn’t just that they beat them, but the way they dominated the game from start to finish.
Nonetheless, despite their impressive play and their juggernaut of a team, NFL insider Brian Baldinger believes it’s Super Bowl or bust for them.
Talking on The Morning Roast on 95.7 The Game, the analyst stated that it doesn’t matter how many good games they have in the regular season or if they blow out the No. 7 seed in the first round of the playoffs; it’ll all depend on whether they can go the distance when it actually matters.
“You can put up all the stats you want. You can have all the glorious Sundays in the regular season. You could blow out some 7-seed in the first round of the playoffs, but unless they win the Super Bowl then nobody’s going to talk about them.”@BaldyNFL on Super Bowl or bust…

Truth be told, that’s been the issue with this team for a long while now.
The Niners have always had a solid defense and stacked offense — perhaps not at this level — but they often fall short, mostly because of injuries and/or poor QB play.
Brock Purdy rose to the occasion and had a solid outing against the Eagles, and he’s perhaps their weakest link this season.
Fortunately for them, he’s managed to stay out of the injury report, and even if he ends up missing time, they have a solid backup in Sam Darnold.
All things considered, the Niners have been just too dominant this season, but none of that will mean a thing unless they cap the season off with a ring.
