The Green Bay Packers will look quite different this season.

Aaron Rodgers won’t be under center anymore, with former first-round pick Jordan Love set to take the reins of the offense.

That’s why some aren’t optimistic about the upcoming campaign, whereas others believe they still have a chance to find success.

Whatever the case, NFL analyst Louis Riddick believes we won’t know for sure what kind of team they are until midway through the season.

Riddick explained that the Packers will have a guy making just his second career start when Love takes the field in Week 1.

Moreover, he said that his five main pass-catchers will either be rookies or sophomores, so it’ll obviously take some time before they get their legs under him.

Fortunately for Love, Riddick pointed out the fact that they do have a stellar running back corps and offensive line, so Love will have two prime security blankets in Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon to trust when things get hard.

Moreover, the Packers still have a very good defense, and HC Matt LaFleur has proven to be a more than decent coach in the early stages of his young career.

Reports from Packers training camp state that Love is ready to break out and prove that he can lead the team going forward.

But there will most definitely be some growing pains, as their offense is mostly young and will need time to fulfill their potential.
