The Los Angeles Lakers continue to be one of the most discussed teams in the NBA offseason.
Not only do the Lakers have a lot of pedigree and notoriety due to their general brand, but they have also made several recent moves to try and improve their roster.
Between LeBron James’ re-worked contract, new coach, and their 2024 NBA Draft selections, the Lakers have certainly had their moments in the sun throughout the offseason.
Analyst Cody Decker recently talked about these moves in a segment of ‘Beadle and Decker’ on Mad Dog Sports Radio, indicating that he is not happy with the way things have gone down.
“Everything happened as we all said it would. The balls on these people, to look at us in the eye and say, ‘No, no, no, no, no, this wasn’t part of the plan,’ shut up,” Decker said.

Decker shared his frustration with the Lakers’ front office and coaching staff, indicating that fans were well aware of what they were going to do before they did it.
There wasn’t a lot of mystery with the Lakers’ offseason moves to this point, and yet, Decker scolded the team for trying to retroactively tell fans that they didn’t know what was going to happen all along.
He believes that all of these moves have been targeted and calculated for months and that fans have predicted everything the team has done to this point.
Frustrating or not, ti will be interesting to see how everything works out for the Lakers in the weeks and months to come.
