Analyst Warns 76ers About Keeping James Harden Around

Philadelphia 76ers coaches and players seem ready to move on from James Harden.

They’ve talked about how they would like to keep him there, but they also know that they can compete without him and don’t seem too worried about that.

The same goes for the rest of the league.

Every single team in the NBA shut the door on Harden in free agency, which is why he had no choice but to pick his player option up for this season.

However, even though the market is screaming that they don’t want anything to do with Harden unless it’s at a major discount, Daryl Morey still refuses to deal with the fact that he’s no longer a valuable asset.

That’s why former NBA player Tim Legler showed his concerns about this situation, via “Get Up” on ESPN.

.@LegsESPN says the 76ers need to trade James Harden “sooner rather than later.”

He believes that Harden has put the Sixers in a tough spot and that they should’ve handled this situation way sooner.

Legler pointed out the fact that no one in the league has any sort of incentive to trade for Harden, given his history of injuries, his age, his financial pretensions, and the fact that he’s never been good in the playoffs.

He believes Harden is going to be an anchor for Joel Embiid and that the Sixers need to get whatever they can for him and just put the ball in Tyrese Maxey’s hands.

The entire NBA has already moved on from Harden, and no one wants to pay a premium price for a former star with an ego.

Maybe, Morey just hasn’t gotten the memo yet.
