The New York Jets thrust themselves into the title-contending conversation in the NFL this summer by making a move to bring in superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
That move resulted in a few other moves, like bringing in Allen Lazard, Randall Cobb, and most recently, Dalvin Cook.
All these moves were made because the team’s championship window is officially open, and a lot of people are starting to rally around them due to the fact the team seems to be a legitimate force to be reckoned with on both sides of the football.
Although everything appears to be heading in the right direction for the new-look Jets, things can drastically change in a heartbeat in New York if the added attention turns sour, as Emmanuel Acho pointed out on “Speak” on FS1.

As Acho suggests, one thing that could go wrong quickly in New York is one side of the football getting more credit than the other or one side picking up the slack for the side that is struggling.
There will be storylines galore for the Jets this season, whether the season goes good or bad, because this team has become the talk of the NFL, especially with the team being showcased on HBO’s “Hard Knocks” over the last few weeks.
The 2023 NFL season can very easily go sideways for the Jets as Rodgers and company try to get this franchise on track and ready to compete for a Super Bowl, but it will be up to the team to decide its fate while they attempt to block out the noise.
