The GOAT debate is as heated a topic as it gets in the NBA these days, with the consensus being that only two players in the history of the game are in the conversation.

A lot of basketball fans from this generation tend to lean in favor of Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James as the GOAT, but those who were actually able to watch Michael Jordan dominate the game with the Chicago Bulls believe there’s no discussion, as he’s the undisputed GOAT.

Along with winning six NBA titles in six attempts in the NBA Finals, Jordan gets a lot of love for his competitiveness, which is second to none among players in the history of this professional sport and others.

During an appearance on “The Old Man and the Three” podcast with JJ Redick, four-time NBA champion Andre Iguodala talked about Jordan’s competitiveness and how much he was on another level in comparison to other legends in the history of the league.

Although Iguodala doesn’t go into detail about the GOAT debate, he clearly has a lot of respect for Jordan and how competitive he was during his time leading the Bulls to two three-peats under legendary head coach Phil Jackson.

With James heading into the twilight of his career in the league, as he’s set to play his 21st NBA season, the narrative will likely change if the Lakers win another title.

James doesn’t have much left to prove in his career, as he’ll likely be chasing titles and the legacy of Jordan the rest of the way.
