It took him a while, but once Stephen Curry established himself as one of the best players in the NBA, he never looked back.
Aside from injuries, there hasn’t been a passage where Curry has struggled in his career, putting up huge numbers even when Klay Thompson was out for the season.
On top of that, Curry has also found quite the success outside of the basketball court, both as a businessman and a golfer.
That’s why, following his win in the American Century Championship, teammate Andre Iguodala took to Twitter to call him the greatest athlete of our time.

Perhaps that’s a bit far-fetched, especially considering Curry isn’t the most athletic guy.
However, those who have seen him get to work every single day would all agree that his work ethic is second to none, and his conditioning is one of the most elite among NBA circles — and among professional athletes as a whole.
There have been multiple reports of NBA players literally throwing up after a handful of minutes doing one of his crazy workouts, and we’re talking about other elite athletes as well.
It’s not easy to do what he does and still have the time, energy, and given talents to be as good in another sport as he is.
And even if we’re not talking about a PGA tour, and he might not sit at the same table against professional golfers, Curry has a strong case for being one of the best athletes of the past two decades or so.
