The Kansas City Chiefs have all the makings of a potential dynasty as they’ve got the best quarterback in the world in Patrick Mahomes.
Mahomes is an offensive supernova capable of making plays out of thin air and defenses have had no answer for him since he entered the league.
The reigning Super Bowl MVP gives the Chiefs an advantage at the quarterback position every single week, though he’s also got a brilliant head coach in Andy Reid.
Reid has been one of the most creative and fearless offensive minds in the NFL, so he makes for the perfect person to pair with someone like Mahomes.
Reid has introduced several unique concepts and schemes as Kansas City’s head coach and it’s amazing to see him still be so ahead of the curve when it comes to play designs.
For instance, Reid revealed that he took a play from a janitor who used to clean the Green Bay Packers facility via Green Light with Chris Long.

Reid explains that a janitor kept insisting he had a play for him and when he drew it up the Chiefs head coach was impressed and decided to call it during the game.
At the professional level, people like Reid will look anywhere for some sort of competitive edge though one has to admit that a janitor’s suggestion ranks as one of the most unique ones.
Regardless, Reid has proven that he knows a good offensive play when he sees one and it’ll be exciting to see what he has up his sleeve for 2023.
