The Kansas City Chiefs continue to dominate the NFL year after year.
They have made five straight AFC Championship Games and have won two Super Bowls in that span.
No team can match the success that the Chiefs have had.
But, you can try to replicate it.
The Chiefs and head coach Andy Reid believe preseason reps are important for their players.
Even though Patrick Mahomes is the most valuable asset in the NFL, he will still take the field every preseason.
According to Ari Meirov, Reid said that Mahomes and the rest of the Chiefs starters will play one quarter in their first preseason game.

You have to weigh the risk versus the reward when allowing your best players to see preseason snaps.
Getting work in during live game action is valuable.
But, is it worth the risk of having one of your best players get injured?
Reid has been doing this for a long time and it seems to work out each year.
Seeing Mahomes on the field will be great for all NFL fans that love great quarterback play.
This will be the first time we see Mahomes and the defending champs since winning the Super Bowl.
Even though the game will not matter on Sunday, it is still a chance to get in valuable work.
Mahomes is working with a new set of receivers this year and every rep helps.
It will be intriguing to see how the 2023 version of the Chiefs look in their first time out.
