The Kansas City Chiefs don’t need any more ammunition to fire themselves up for a 2024 season that could see them become the NFL’s first-ever team to win three consecutive Super Bowls.

Well, the Las Vegas Raiders recently made the interesting decision to make fun of Chiefs MVP quarterback Patrick Mahomes by bringing in a Kermit the Frog puppet that was dressed like Mahomes.

Chiefs head coach Andy Reid had his own response to the Raiders’ decision to poke fun at his quarterback.

“We don’t spend a lot of time here with puppets,” Reid told CBS Sports’s Jonathan Jones in a recent interview.

The Raiders may want to focus more on their play rather than playing with puppets.

Since Patrick Mahomes took over as the team’s starter in 2018, Kansas City has dominated the Raiders.

The Chiefs have gone 10-2 against their AFC West rivals and haven’t lost on the road against them yet with Mahomes under center.

Again, Andy Reid and Co. are going for their third consecutive Super Bowl and their fourth in the last six years.

As an organization, the Raiders have made the playoffs just twice in the last 21 seasons.

Both teams are on opposite sides of the spectrum heading into this season with the Chiefs looking to do the impossible.

The Raiders on the other hand are just looking to have a winning record, which is why they might want to spend less time playing with puppets and making fun of the quarterback that has given them the most trouble in recent years.
