On Saturday, the Los Angeles Angels played host to the Seattle Mariners in the second game of a three-game series.
Seattle ultimately emerged victorious by a final of 6-2.
But in the bottom of the fifth inning, the Halos had a chance to do some damage with two outs, as two runners were on for Shohei Ohtani.
However, Ohtani received a called third strike on a pitch that looked to be outside, prompting a rare argument from the two-way star.
Manager Phil Nevin wasn’t about to let home plate umpire Phil Cuzzi have the last word though, and he stormed out of the dugout and unleashed a tirade on the umpiring crew.

Nevin was ultimately ejected from the game, but the Halos skipper was certainly heated, and he let the umpires hear it after a questionable call.
Nevin was being backed up by cheers from Angels fans as he unleashed his rage onto Cuzzi.
While it ultimately resulted in an ejection, Nevin got what he came for and made sure Cuzzi and the rest of the umpires understood the magnitude of such a poor call.
Sadly, as time goes on, it seems as if umpiring has deteriorated, and more questionable calls are made in each game.
This has led many to suggest that it’s time for an electronic strike zone, as well as robot umpires.
These changes could be coming soon, much to the delight of fans who have grown frustrated with umpires’ inability to make correct calls.
Nevin certainly was frustrated, but he got his money’s worth after his ejection.
