The relationship between Zach LaVine and the Chicago Bulls seems to be in a very bad spot and it doesn’t seem like it can be repaired.

There have been numerous reports stating that LaVine wishes to leave the Bulls and that the front office is trying to make a trade happen.

Now an anonymous member of the team has spoken with ESPN, per NBACentral, and they have nothing good to say about LaVine.

The source stated:

“He’s never won, he’s done it his way the whole way and never won. If he’s interested in winning, he’ll do what’s asked of him. And if he’s motivated to not be here, one way is to come, be compliant and be who he is.”

“He’s never won, he’s done it his way the whole way and never won. If he’s interested in winning, he’ll do what’s asked of him. And if he’s motivated to not be here, one way is to come, be compliant and be who he is.”… pic.twitter.com/gbsHSLLwDU

Based on this quote, it seems that LaVine is not a very generous team player.

ESPN also reported that the team and LaVine can’t see eye to eye on other matters either, such as the player’s decision to get season-ending surgery months ago.

The anonymous quote and the story suggest that LaVine’s time in Chicago is definitely nearing an end.

However, the Bulls have had a very hard time shipping him away and it seems that his history of injuries and massive paycheck are scaring away other front offices throughout the NBA.

There is a chance that the Bulls hold onto LaVine when the new season begins, but not because they want to.

If LaVine is still in a Bulls jersey this fall, it’ll be because the team couldn’t find any team willing to sign him.
