Minnesota Timberwolves superstar Anthony Edwards has seen his stock rise immensely over the past year after helping his team reach the Western Conference Finals and now leading Team USA into the 2024 Summer Olympics.
His success isn’t stopping there, as Edwards has also made headlines off the court in the form of a major sneaker deal.
The Athletic’s Shams Charania is reporting that Edwards has signed a multiyear contract extension with Adidas that sources say will reach eight figures annually, a deal that cements him as a face of the brand.

At just 22 years old and with one of the most likable personalities in the league, not to mention a clean record off the court in terms of major controversies, Edwards is a strong choice for Adidas to select as the essential face of the company.
Ant’s sneaker release, the AE 1, has done well and likely made this a no-brainer decision for Adidas to lock up the potential future face of the NBA to prevent him from jumping to Nike or any other brand that would surely love to have him.
Edwards has improved in each of his four seasons in the NBA and has led what arguably has been one of the least successful franchises in the four major American sports leagues to new heights, making the playoffs in three of his first four seasons and turning the Timberwolves into a legitimate title contender this past season.
