Edwards is clearly in good company with this elite group of guards.
This is just more proof that he’s a player unlike any other in the league right now.
Shooting guards are always tasked with scoring a lot and Edwards is obviously someone who can do that quite well.
Last season, he averaged 25.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 5.1 assists.
After multiple seasons of being a rising star, Edwards improved and took his game to a whole new level.
Because of that, he was spoken about as an MVP candidate and also earned his spot on Team USA in the upcoming Olympics.
Playing in Paris will give Edwards a chance to perform on the biggest stage possible.
He has already shown what he’s capable of during exhibition games.
There have been moments when he has outshined LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Kevin Durant, and other icons of the game.
Edwards is easily one of the most exciting young players in the NBA and this season proved that.
He has done things that no other shooting guard has and he might be just weeks away from winning his first gold medal.
