The Minnesota Timberwolves took Dallas by storm, splitting the series and managing to extend the series.

Anthony Edwards was in his bag to secure a huge and much-needed win in Game 4.

He silenced the home crowd and talked about all the trash-talking they did, admitting that he took things personally this time.

Still, it’s all good with the city, and he linked up with one of their favorite athletes shortly after the game to prove it.

As shown by Bleacher Report, Edwards met with Dallas Cowboys star DE/LB Micah Parsons, who was sporting a Luka Doncic jersey.

Parsons has drawn some mockery and criticism around the NBA for wearing multiple team’s jerseys, but he’s admitted that he doesn’t root for a single NBA team right now, jokingly adding that he would claim one eventually.

He’s one of the best defensive players in the National Football League, and, just like Edwards, a prime trash-talker that took the league by storm right out of the gate, so it’s only natural that they like and recognize each other.

Now, the series will head back to the Twin Cities for Game 5.

Edwards reportedly promised Parsons that they would be back for Game 6, adding that he would give him some of his signature sneakers when that happens.

Needless to say, living up to that promise will be easier said than done, as the Timberwolves are still against the ropes, and it’s hard to envision Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic combining for 13-of-39 shooting again.
