The United States dominated the Olympics in basketball, as both the men’s and women’s teams won the gold medal.
There were some questions about the men’s team and their ability to get the job done, but they were clutch when it mattered most.
The men’s team was comprised of All-Stars, including Anthony Edwards, the youngest player on the team.
Edwards has made a name for himself in the NBA with supreme athleticism and elite abilities, helping the Minnesota Timberwolves become a threat in the Western Conference.
He recently appeared at Fanatics Fest in New York City, talking about his experience in the Olympics, particularly about what happened after they won gold.
According to Courtside Buzz on Twitter, Edwards said, “We couldn’t really celebrate for real because me, KD, and Stephen had to take a drug test.”

All Edwards, Kevin Durant, and Steph Curry wanted to do was celebrate with their teammates, but the party was halted for them.
They were all drug tested, likely due to their brilliant performances in the gold medal game and throughout the Olympics.
While these tests were a minor inconvenience, it was still a great honor for all three athletes to compete in this year’s games.
Surprisingly, it was Curry’s first Olympics, as was the case for Edwards.
Durant is no stranger to international competition and the experience from him and the other players was a key factor in helping them win the gold.
It will be interesting to see how the Olympians adjust back to NBA competition, especially after their epic performances.
