While it didn’t end how they anticipated, the 2023-2024 NBA season has been viewed as a success for the Minnesota Timberwolves.
After years of heartbreak and frustrating losses, the Timberwolves made it to the Western Conference Finals, their first appearance in that series since the early Kevin Garnett years.
This was a step in the right direction for this team, but they hope that this is just the beginning of what could be a dominant stretch.
As Anthony Edwards said in a postgame press conference, “We’ll be back next year.”

Edwards was one of the most talked about players in the league during the regular season, and he seemed to come alive in the playoffs.
There were times that he struggled to produce against the Dallas Mavericks, but for the most part, Edwards continued his dominance into the postseason.
This should give the Timberwolves hope for their future with Edwards, especially because he is only 22 years old, and already has four seasons of NBA experience under his belt.
Edwards and his teammates now know what it is like to get this close to the NBA Finals, and seem determined to get back to work, hoping they can find their way back to this position next year.
The Timberwolves front office put a lot of faith into this team heading into the season, making a few massive moves and signings, including their blockbuster trade for Rudy Gobert.
All signs are pointing upward for this team, but will they be able to build on what they created this season?
