Anthony Edwards has made a name for himself in the NBA.

He might only be 23 years old, but he has accomplished a lot in his young career.

Edwards helped bring the Minnesota Timberwolves to the Western Conference Finals since the Kevin Garnett days, and he just got done representing Team USA in the Olympics.

He wasn’t necessarily the star of the team in the Olympics, but his impact on the court was undoubtedly felt.

While Edwards is gearing up for the 2024-2025 season, he is also working on some new skills, as shared by Overtime on Twitter.

While boxing doesn’t directly correlate to what he does in the NBA, it certainly can’t hurt.

Boxing is among the best cardio workouts a person can do, and it can help increase hand-eye coordination in all facets of life.

Edwards is trying to not only be the best young player in the league, but he wants to be viewed as the greatest in the sport.

Any edge he can get over his competition is imperative, which is why boxing makes sense for him.

With this in mind, Edwards and the Timberwolves have a significant amount of work ahead of them.

The Western Conference has only gotten better throughout the offseason, and they cannot rest on their laurels of making it to the conference finals last year.

They will need to continuously work hard and gel as one unit if they want any chance of repeating their success.
