The Los Angeles Angels seem to have injury issues every season.

That is one of the reasons why they have not made the playoffs since 2014.

If any team in MLB is cursed, it must be the Angels.

The Angels have lost three impact players over the past few days.

Former AL MVP Mike Trout is set to miss 6-8 weeks with a broken hamate bone in his hand.

Also, Shohei Ohtani left his last start early due to a blister.

Then, as if things could not get any worse, Anthony Rendon left their last game after fouling a ball off his leg.

Rendon already spent time on the injured list this season, and he is likely headed back.

According to Sam Blum, Rendon commented on his injuries: “It’s almost comical. It’s just frustrating. I don’t know what to do.”

When asked if he expects to go on the IL, Rendon said he’ll know more tomorrow but “It’s not looking good.”

Rendon agreed to a massive long-term contract before the 2020 season.

Yet, he has been nothing but injured every year with the Angels.

He has spent four seasons in LA and has yet to play more than 58 games in a season.

The inability to stay on the field has been a major problem.

Now that he is 33 years old the injuries are only going to continue to pile up.

The Angels know that making the playoffs is the most important thing.

Yet until this team can prove they can stay healthy they will likely fall short every year.
