We’ve officially reached this point of the NFL season.
With the Pro Bowl selections already out there, some players are — rightfully — complaining about the fact that they weren’t selected to the Pro Bowl.
Nonetheless, the honor of being selected for a Pro Bowl is still something major, and as such, it’s only normal to see some guys complain.
That includes Antoine Winfield Sr, who took to Twitter to complain about the fact that his son failed to make the cut and was an alternate behind Arizona Cardinals star Budda Baker despite clearly having better stats than him (via Ari Meirov).
“@nfl somebody has some explaining to do!!! Ain’t NO WY in HELL Buddha Baker goes to the ProBowl ahead of My lil man with NO STATS. I know how important ProBowls are on the Resume & it just so happens to be his Contract year. We ain’t going for the Bull****. Somebody Need to Holla at me,” Winfield Sr. posted.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ safety has been one of the best ballhawks in the league this season, making big plays for a playoff-hopeful team, as opposed to Baker, who’s played for one of the worst teams in the league.
Winfield Jr. has five forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries, three interceptions, and five sacks this season.
Baker hasn’t recorded a single one of those stats, and while he’s one of the best tacklers in his position and a solid player in coverage, he hasn’t made the same kind of impact as Winfield, nor has his team in playoff contention.
At the end of the day, this often comes down to a popularity contest, but this is just flat-out wrong.
