Los Angeles Lakers guard Austin Reaves has become a bit of a rising star in the league.

He played so well in the second half of last season, up to the point where he cemented himself as Darvin Ham’s starting shooting guard, and earned himself a big payday and a spot on Team USA’s roster.

He’s embracing the opportunity to compete with and against some of the best players on Earth, and even if he’s not a starter, he’s looking forward to making a big impact on the national team.

With that in mind, the FIBA Basketball World Cup Twitter account asked him several interesting questions, including which four players he’d choose to join him on Team USA’s all-time starting lineup.

Unsurprisingly, he didn’t hesitate to choose Kobe Bryant first, considering he’s always talked about how he was his favorite player growing up and such a big inspiration for him.

Then, he chose Michael Jordan, who’s obviously one of the greatest players of all time and found plenty of success with the national team as well.

He later chose LeBron James, who he’s grown quite close with since arriving in Los Angeles, even though he wasn’t much of a fan of his game when he was a young hooper.

Last but not least, he chose Shaquille O’Neal, who didn’t get to play that much with Team USA and was infamously snubbed from the Dream Team, but he should still be considered one of the most dominant players ever.

That’s tough to beat.
