Austin Rivers might be most well-known for being Doc Rivers’ son.
He played in the NBA for 11 seasons, and while he hasn’t officially retired, he is not currently on an NBA roster.
Rivers has started dabbling in sports media and has recently appeared on NBA shows on ESPN.
He recently talked about his all-time list of current players who have yet to acquire an NBA Championship ring.
His top five list includes James Harden, Russell Westbrook, Chris Paul, Damian Lillard, and Joel Embiid.

All of these players are viewed as some of the best that are currently in the NBA, but for whatever reason, they haven’t won rings throughout their careers.
Harden made it to the NBA Finals in the 2011-2012 season, but the Oklahoma City Thunder lost to the Miami Heat in that series.
He is now a member of the Los Angeles Clippers, and, judging by the way the team is currently playing, could have a great chance of making it to the Finals this year.
Westbrook is also on the Clippers, and like Harden, was a member of the 2011-2012 Thunder.
These two are familiar with how the other plays, which could set them up for success down the road.
Paul is often regarded as one of the best point guards in NBA history, but he too, has been unable to acquire a ring.
He has teamed up with the Golden State Warriors this year to try and get his first one, but the Warriors haven’t been as dominant as they have in prior years.
Lillard joined the Milwaukee Bucks to try and improve his chances, and while Embiid is hurt, the Philadelphia 76ers seem to always be a contender in the East.
Which of these five players from Rivers’ list will win a ring first, if any?
