The Dallas Mavericks are about to play against “the best team in basketball,” according to Austin Rivers.
Rivers appeared on ESPN and spoke about the upcoming NBA Finals, stating that the Mavericks will need all the rest they can get if they wish to take down the Celtics.
He said their time off will help Dallas a lot but will it be enough to let them take down the best team in the association?

The Finals start on Thursday, in Boston, and the Mavericks will need to be at 100% if they wish to pull off a victory on the road.
There is no doubt that the Mavericks are wiped out, exhausted by the long season and their recent push through the playoffs.
Luka Doncic, for example, is beat up and tired.
He has also been pushing through some nagging body aches and pains.
No matter what issues are plaguing him, Doncic is going to have to play his heart out against the Celtics.
As Rivers said, they are technically the best team in the NBA and have the greatest record this year.
They easily earned their top spot in the East and many have said they had a charmed run through the playoffs, facing multiple teams that were lacking star players because of injuries.
But no matter what led them to this point, the Celtics have a record they should be proud of and they are the favorites to win the Finals.
