Going on the road to play in Lambeau Field in December isn’t an easy task, but the Tampa Bay Buccaneers marched into the stadium in Week 15 and beat the Green Bay Packers.

Both the Buccaneers and Packers are on the bubble for the 2023 NFL season, making it a crucial game for both teams.

It was a close game in the first half as the two teams traded scoring drives, but Tampa Bay was able to pull away in the third quarter after Baker Mayfield threw a pair of touchdowns.

Mayfield threw his fourth touchdown pass of the afternoon in the fourth quarter, sealing the victory for the Buccaneers and allowing them a chance to take the NFC South crown at the end of the season.

Mayfield had his most efficient outing of the season as he completed 22-of-28 passing attempts for 381 yards and four touchdowns.

The former No. 1 overall pick has been great for Tampa Bay and he achieved a rare record via CBS.

“Baker Mayfield is the first opposing QB to record a perfect passer rating (158.3) in Lambeau Field. *min. 5 attempts,” The Athletic tweeted.

Mayfield appeared his most comfortable in the offense as he routinely picked apart the Green Bay defense for chunk yards and scores.

After jumping around from team to team in recent years, it appears Mayfield may have found a home in Tampa Bay considering how well he’s played.

The Buccaneers still have a lot of work to do in order to qualify for the postseason, but Mayfield gives them a legitimate shot to get there.
