The Detroit Lions definitely don’t look like the Lions of old.

They’ve won games they would’ve lost every single time back in the day.

When asked about this culture turnaround, team legend Barry Sanders said on “Good Morning Football” that this team was the product of all those prayers and wishes from the past.

On a more serious note, Sanders praised coach Dan Campbell and the front office for putting together a talented and hard-working roster full of players with strong characters.

Truth be told, this Lions team looks like the kind of team that could compete with all contenders on any given night.

Even on a day when Jared Goff was struggling to find his groove, the rest of the team rallied around him to get the job done late.

This Lions team can put up points in a hurry in the passing game, or they can just pound their way on the ground with their running offense.

They can also shut down the rival’s offense and play some slow-paced, defensive football if need be.

But perhaps the most important thing about the new-look Lions is the fact that they will always keep fighting regardless of the rival, the score, or the situation.

They’re the kind of team that simply won’t back down from any challenge and who would fight and run through a brick wall for every single one of their teammates, and that mindset can take a team a long way.
