The Chicago Bears are expected to be one of the most improved teams in the league next season.

Their defense closed out the season on a high note, and they made some big moves to revamp their offense as well.

D’Andre Swift, Rome Odunze, Keenan Allen, and Caleb Williams will headline the new era of Bears football.

That’s why GM Ryan Poles won’t rest on his laurels and will continue to make all the moves they need to be at their best.

With that in mind, they’ve brought in former Jacksonville Jaguars linebacker Shaquille Quarterman for a workout, according to a report by Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Quarterman became a free agent after spending the past four years in Jacksonville.

The Jaguars drafted him in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft, and he played 12 games as a rookie.

He logged six tackles that season and played mostly on special teams.

Then, he earned a more prominent role, logging 17 appearances and 30 tackles (one for loss) in his sophomore year.

He’s coming off another season of playing all the games, and while most of his snaps came on special teams again, he’s proven to be a reliable option and could provide some depth for a team looking to make a splash and return to the playoffs next season.
