The Chicago Bears were far from a good team last season, but they still showed some promise.
They had quite a solid offseason, and there are plenty of reasons to look forward to next season if you’re a fan of the team.
Even the atmosphere and overall feeling within the locker room seem different ahead of the campaign, with the players knowing it’s time to make a splash and put their woes behind them once and for all.
Perhaps it’s the hype around Justin Fields and the new offensive weapons; perhaps it is the fact that Aaron Rodgers is no longer in the NFC North; perhaps it’s more than that or a combination of both.
Whatever the case, you can feel the determination to be better, as was made even more evident by safety Eddie Jackson, who recently took to Twitter to promise he’s about to have one of the best seasons ever played by a safety in 2023.

Truth be told, that’s exactly what the Bears will need to make it to the playoffs next season.
As improved as the team is, they’re still a couple of pieces away from being a legit contender, or maybe they just need a little more experience to take that leap forward.
Then again, that’s the kind of competitive spirit one always wants to see from their stars.
The Bears have a caring and loyal fanbase, and they’ve been through enough already, so they’ll hope he puts his money where his mouth is in 2023.
