Justin Fields has been a polarizing player for the Chicago Bears since he was drafted in 2021.
Many analysts believe that Ohio State quarterbacks are destined to fail in the NFL, given their not-so-spotless track record.
However, Tremaine Edmunds, a newly acquired linebacker from the Buffalo Bills, has given Fields high marks.
As Edmunds indicated on a recent episode of NFL Total Access, “He is a leader, you can see he makes guys around him better.”

Fields took a step forward in production during the 2022 season and hopes to only improve this year.
Last season, he racked up 2,242 passing yards and 1,143 rushing yards, totaling 25 total touchdowns.
This was with a diminished cast of characters, as Darnell Mooney was hurt, and the wide receiver room as a whole was sub-par.
The Bears traded away the first overall pick to the Carolina Panthers and received a smorgasbord of value in return.
One of the trade pieces was D.J. Moore, who should be a valuable asset for Fields in the receiving game.
With any luck, Moore will fit right into this offense, and the team should benefit from his veteran presence.
While the offense is trending upward, the defense has also taken several steps forward as well.
Edmunds was one of the many defensive players that the Bears signed during the offseason.
With all of this in mind, can the Bears not only improve upon their 2022 record but make a splash in the NFC North?
Now that Aaron Rodgers is out of the division, anything is possible.
