Will this season be the one where the Cincinnati Bengals finally win the Super Bowl?
They have been contenders over the last two seasons, and during that time, they have reached two AFC Championship Games and one Super Bowl.
The biggest reason why they’re an elite team is quarterback Joe Burrow, who is one of the two or three best players at that position in the NFL.
He has been praised for his cool, steady hand, but teammate DJ Reader appeared on “Up & Adams” and said that once he hits the field, that demeanor suddenly changes.
“I love that look in his eye. That look in his eye when he got that dog going… He about to go crazy, [and] you can see it on him.”

Burrow was the No. 1 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft after a spectacular final season of college football during which he threw for 5,671 yards and 60 touchdowns for Louisiana State University.
But his first season in the pros ended in disastrous fashion, as he suffered a serious knee injury that seemed to put his entire career in some jeopardy.
He bounced back in 2021, playing in 16 games and leading the league in completion percentage while tallying 4,611 passing yards and 34 touchdown passes.
That year, he led Cincinnati to the Super Bowl, where they led for much of the second half but lost to the Los Angeles Rams after giving up a late touchdown to All-Pro wide receiver Cooper Kupp.
This season, the Bengals will have the services of offensive tackle Orlando Brown Jr., who spent last season with the world champion Kansas City Chiefs, the team that defeated them in the AFC title game.
Burrow is currently out with a calf injury, and while he could miss several weeks, many expect him to be ready for the team’s season opener versus the Cleveland Browns.
