The Cincinnati Bengals have found themselves amid an interesting offseason.

After signing Orlando Brown Jr., many within their fanbase and organization were excited about the potential for a star left tackle.

However, Jonah Williams, one of the team’s offensive linemen, seemed to be less than thrilled about this decision, requesting a trade.

If recent comments are any indication, it appears that Williams has rescinded this request.

“I’ll be happy to be a contributor on a team where I have so many great teammates,” Williams recently said to reporter Geoff Hobson.

The Bengals organization has turned around significantly over the past few years.

Joe Burrow has reinvigorated the fanbase and has brought the team out of their pits of despair.

Despite making the AFC Championship over the past two seasons, the Bengals’ offensive line continues to be a point of contention.

Adding Brown should only help their cause, and now that Williams is on board, they should be in a great position.

The AFC continues to be a difficult conference, especially given the dominance of Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Williams is still recovering from injury but remains determined that he’ll be back on the field for Week 1.

He recently said that his knee will be “way better than 100 percent,” meaning that he’ll be in the best possible position to contribute.

Can the Bengals break through in the AFC, with an improved offensive line in mind?

Burrow and the team are hungry to not only make it to the Super Bowl, but finish the job, something they didn’t do in 2021.
