One of the most intriguing storylines heading into the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft on Thursday night is where University of Texas star running back Bijan Robinson may land.
Robinson is widely considered to be the best back in this draft and has drawn interest from multiple teams trying to improve the position ahead of the 2023 campaign.
Although the Dallas Cowboys have made some noise about potentially trading up to grab Robinson, the division rival Philadelphia Eagles may give them some competition, especially after the draft prospect’s recent comments about his visit with the defending NFC champions.
Robinson was blown away by what he saw and how he was treated during his visit with the Eagles, saying the following to Andrew Siciliano of NFL Network.

At this point, there’s no telling where Robinson could land, but it seems more and more likely that he’ll end up being taken in the first round by a team that could use him right away next season.
The Eagles would be an intriguing destination, with the team needing a boost at the running back position after losing Miles Sanders to the Carolina Panthers in NFL free agency.
Philadelphia addressed the void left by Sanders by bringing in former Seattle Seahawks running back Rashaad Penny, but that’s likely a short-term fix until the team can find a better long-term option, which could ultimately be Robinson if he’s there for the taking on Thursday.
It’ll be interesting to see if this does come down to the Cowboys and Eagles and which NFC East heavyweight comes out on top.
