The New England Patriots have been continuously touted as one of the most well-run franchises in the NFL.
Their dynastic run during the Tom Brady era was one of a kind, and they tend to have one of the league’s best defenses to boot.
Despite post-Brady struggles, the Patriots continue to invest in their defense.
This was the case with their 2022 offseason signing of Jabrill Peppers, to whom Bill Belichick has recently given high praise.
As Belichick highlighted in a recent press conference, per PFT, “He’s a much different player now than he was last year at this time, or even in training camp.”

Belichick continued his praise of Peppers, saying, “He’s playing fast, aggressive, helping out his teammates.”
The Patriots finished the 2022 season with an 8-9 record, finishing third in their division.
While the division has only gotten more difficult during the offseason (Hello, Aaron Rodgers), the Patriots are committed to getting back to their winning ways.
Having a player like Peppers in prime shape will certainly get their defense in a great place.
Even though Peppers is ready to go, there are a lot of unknowns about what the team will look like this year.
Many questions have been raised about Mac Jones and the offense, and their ability to thrive.
The Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins both have high-powered offenses.
If Jones and the offense can keep up, the Patriots should find themselves in a favorable spot.
The rest of the AFC isn’t going away, however, giving the Patriots a difficult chance to make a deep postseason run.
