The New England Patriots have been through it all this season.
They don’t look anywhere close to the dominant franchise they once were, and Bill Belichick deserves most of the blame for that.
That’s why it’s not much of a surprise to see the reports stating that Robert Kraft reportedly has already made up his mind about him and that he won’t be back with the team in 2024.
However, when asked about the reports of him not being a part of the team’s future going forward, the legendary coach simply stated that he’s focused on the Kansas City Chiefs right now (via Ian Steele).
“I’m getting ready for Kansas City.”

Belichick has never changed his ways and that’s not going to change at this point.
He’s always been tight-lipped to those just doing their job in press conferences, so they shouldn’t have expected a different response.
Belichick helped the Patriots become the standard for a winning organization, and no one can take anything away from him and what he has accomplished in the National Football League.
But he’s in control of pretty much every aspect of the team, so he’s to blame for this year’s failure and their inability to get back on track in the post-Tom Brady era, so it makes sense for the Patriots to cut him loose now.
