The Buffalo Bills are facing a crucial campaign ahead of them.
Some believe that Sean McDermott’s team has already peaked and predicted their Super Bowl window has shut down already.
That’s why every single move they make from now on could be crucial and will be put under the microscope, for better or worse.
With that in mind, the team has decided to add some more depth at the safety position.
Per their own report, they’ve announced the signing of safety Kareem Jackson, signing him to a one-year deal. They also released LB Shayne Simon.

A 15-year veteran who lastly played for the Houston Texans, he’ll provide some experience to their defense.
As of now, Jackson has started in 193 out of a possible 203 regular season games, as well as eight playoff contests.
He’s played for the Texans in two separate stints and for the Denver Broncos, logging 954 total tackles, 22 interceptions, and three pick-sixes in his long career.
Jackson was the No. 20 pick by the Houston Texans back in 2010 after helping the Alabama Crimson Tide win the BCS National Championship in 2009.
Of course, signing him meant that another player needed to go, which is why the Bills had no choice but to part ways with linebacker Shayne Simon.
Some think McDermott could be on the hot seat next season, and with the New York Jets now as another player in the AFC East Division, this could be a tough campaign for the Bills.
