The Buffalo Bills met their fate in the AFC Divisional Round against the Kansas City Chiefs as they lost another close game.
The Bills may be disappointed in not advancing, but they did well enough to even get themselves in a position to make the postseason.
Buffalo looked dead in the water midway through the 2023 NFL season as their offense was stuck in the mud, leading to a 6-6 record.
Sensing a need to make a change, the team fired former offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey and elevated Joe Brady to become their interim.
The switch to Brady did wonders for Josh Allen and the offense as they quickly found themselves again and went on a run to capture the No. 2 seed in the AFC.
Despite the loss to the Chiefs, the Bills made the right move to keep Brady as offensive coordinator via Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
“The Bills are officially promoting interim offensive coordinator Joe Brady to their full-time OC, sources say. An obvious choice after how he ignited their offense this season,” Rapoport reported.

This should come as no surprise as Brady legitimately helped the offense rediscover itself midseason, no easy task for a team that had Super Bowl aspirations.
Brady built the scheme around the run game, utilizing James Cook more in the backfield, which made life easier for Allen on shorter downs and distances.
With a full season to redesign the offense, Brady should be able to replicate his success which could mean another resurgent year for the Bills.
