The Denver Broncos are putting all their hope in their new quarterback.

Bo Nix spent plenty of time in college, and while it wasn’t always pretty, he clearly got to learn a thing or two.

As quoted by Zac Stevens of DNVR, the talented quarterback learned that he was never going to be at his best if he kept putting that much pressure on himself like he used to do in the past.

Bo Nix said early in college he learned The more pressure you put on yourself, the less free you are able to play.

He believes he’s been playing a lot better since he’s felt more free, and that makes perfect sense.

Nix’s days at Auburn were met with criticism and a lot of pressure.

SEC football is a whole different kind of competition, and he wasn’t able to always live up to the expectations there.

Once he moved to Oregon, he looked happier, fresher, and simply more confident in his game.

Needless to say, excelling in the 2023 version of the PAC-12 is no joke either.

Nix defied the odds and those who didn’t believe in him, and he’s now looking to prove that he was worthy of that first-round pick the Broncos used to get him.

Granted, it’s not going to be easy, and he still has to beat Jarrett Stidham for the starting job.

But he looks like a perfect fit for Sean Payton’s offense.

And while the Broncos still need to add more talent to go back to their winning ways, finding the right quarterback can take any team a long way, and they may have found the one for them already.
