The Las Vegas Raiders don’t have a starting-caliber quarterback right now.
Unless Gardner Minshew has a late-blooming situation like Geno Smith or Aidan O’Connell turns out to be significantly better than expected, they just won’t have a steady and reliable option behind center next season.
That could be a test of Davante Adams’ patience.
Last season was quite tough on him, and judging by Netflix’s ‘Receiver,’ he had a hard time from start to finish.
Adams is the ultimate competitor and he doesn’t just want to be involved; he wants to win.
That’s why former NFL QB Boomer Esiason wouldn’t be shocked if the Raiders decided to move him.
Talking on WFAN Sports Radio, he pointed out that Adams looked quite unhappy, so perhaps whoever goes after him may not need to give up that much to take that problem off of their hands.
Did an episode of “Receiver” show that Davante Adams isn’t happy in Vegas, and could a trade to the Jets be in the cards?

Needless to say, the New York Jets would instantly become the leading candidate to get him, as Aaron Rodgers has already stated that he would love to team up with him again.
Breece Hall also revealed that both he and Garrett Wilson have also actively recruited him to the Jets.
And while they already have Wilson and Mike Williams, his partnership with Rodgers is already proven.
The Jets could have the best offensive core in the game if that were to happen, and if the front office has already gone all-in on Rodgers to win a title now, they might as well keep adding fuel to the fire by at least inquiring about the Fresno State product’s availability.
