Bradley Beal returned to the Phoenix Suns after missing several games due to an ankle injury.
However, Beal’s return wasn’t as fans expected it to be, as he recorded just 6 points, 3 rebounds, and 7 assists for the Suns against the Charlotte Hornets.
Considering Beal has played just seven games in the 2023-24 NBA season, it may take some time for the three-time NBA All-Star to get back into form.
Moreover, he could still be suffering from the lingering effects of his ankle injury.
Beal shared his views on his ankle injury and its impact on his game via Duane Rankin on Twitter.
“I think it’s more of a mental thing,” Bradley Beal said of his ankle injury.

Despite not putting up good numbers in his return against the Charlotte Hornets, Bradley Beal still ended up playing 30 minutes.
Although the franchise certainly needs Beal to put up good numbers over the course of the season, the top priority for the team is to ensure that the 2020-21 All-NBA player stays healthy.
If he can keep himself healthy for the majority of the remaining games in the season, it won’t take long for Beal to find his form.
As for his stats this season, Beal has averaged 13.4 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game for the Suns over seven games.
These are certainly not great numbers, and the Suns need Beal to average close to 20 points per game if they want to turn their season around.
As of now, the Suns are the ninth seed in the Western Conference with a 16-15 record in the 2023-24 NBA season.
