Bradley Beal has been in the NBA for 11 seasons now and has always been one of the the biggest stars on his team for all of them.
But he is about to be under the brightest spotlight of his career.
Beal recently moved to the Phoenix Suns, raising expectations for that team even more.
What is Beal looking to bring to his new squad?
Speaking with SLAM (via NBACentral), Beal talked about his plans for 2023-24.
“I would say the biggest individual piece is getting back to being one of the best two-way players in the league,” Beal said.
“I wanna get back to my All-Star level of play. I really believe that that’s who I am: All-NBA guy, All-Star guy,” he added.

That is exactly the sort of player the Suns need.
During his career, Beal has averaged 23.2 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 5.4 assists on a solid 50.6% from the field.
Although he has missed his fair share of games due to injuries, he’s been remarkably consistent recently, averaging 23.2 points for the last two years.
Those are strong numbers but he has his eyes set on more for his time in Phoenix.
Beal wants to perform like an All-Star and All-NBA member again.
The team already has a lot of talent, including Kevin Durant and Devin Booker.
But as last season proved, all of the talent in the world doesn’t mean anything if players don’t work well together and reach their potential regularly.
Each star has to work on their individual games and then enhance their chemistry together.
Beal was referred to as the team’s missing piece when he was signed.
Of course, the same was said about Durant, and yet the Suns still missed the Finals after he was added.
Therefore, Beal is doing some work on himself to ensure that he really is as good as the Suns need him to be.
