Although the Phoenix Suns have now officially signed Bradley Beal, it’s still not clear what role he will play with the team.

Some reports state that Beal will start as the team’s point guard when the new season begins, a slight change from how he’s performed in the past.

His agent, Mark Bartelstein, believes that Beal will be a great fit in that position.

“I think people are missing the boat if they don’t also see him as a great playmaker,” Bartelstein told NBA Radio on SiriusXM.

He went on to say that his client is “incredibly unselfish” and “doesn’t take bad shots.”

“Brad absolutely can run offense,” Bartelstein added.

Multiple reports say Bradley Beal will start at point guard for Phoenix.

Last season, Beal put up 23.2 points per game and was definitely a centerpiece of the Washington Wizards’ offense.

However, that doesn’t mean some Suns fans aren’t confused – and even a little concerned – about Beal on their team.

The team already has two of the best shooters in the league: Kevin Durant and Devin Booker.

Both of those athletes can also make plays, handle the ball, and run the floor.

So, where will Beal fit in?

The Suns are in a tricky situation because they have a lot to prove with the acquisition of Beal.

They already had a big three last season – Durant, Booker, and Chris Paul – and it didn’t work out.

That proved that even with immense power, the team can still come up short.

They are going to work hard to avoid another season that ended like the last.

Simply putting big talent together doesn’t necessarily result in a championship victory.

Therefore, the coaching staff will have to make sure they are handling Beal correctly and finding the right spot for him.
