Brandon Aiyuk continues to put the San Francisco 49ers in a tough spot.
The talented wide receiver is coming off the best season of his career.
He’s made it loud and clear that he’s not satisfied with his current role in the offense, and with him looking to get a new deal, the Niners might have no choice but to trade him.
As shown by Carlos Talks Pats on Twitter, Aiyuk recently made another cryptic post on Instagram, sharing a pic of himself Facetiming Jayden Daniels.

Aiyuk stated that Daniels told him that it’s about to be fireworks when he’s drafted, which means that they could be looking to team up.
Of course, the Niners have absolutely no shot — or interest, for that matter — to get Daniels, who’s projected to be either the No. 2 or No. 3 pick to the Washington Commanders or New England Patriots, respectively.
Aiyuk isn’t likely to get an expanded role in Kyle Shanahan’s offense for as long as Christian McCaffrey, George Kittle, and Deebo Samuel are all healthy.
And with the Niners looking to keep most of their talent for years to come and also wanting to sign Brock Purdy to a big contract extension, the numbers may not work for him either.
Daniels is firmly expected to go to the Commanders, who already have a solid wide receivers corps with Terry McLaurin, Jahan Dotson, and Jamison Crowder.
Even so, Aiyuk would still be an upgrade over any of them, assuming the Commanders try to make a move.
