When many NBA fans discuss the sport they talk about who is the greatest of all time.

For most people that debate is usually between Michael Jordan and LeBron James.

But, the GOAT will always be based on someone’s opinion of a player.

One player who has gotten a lot of love in the GOAT debate of late is Los Angeles Clippers forward Paul George.

It first started when Charlotte Hornets second-overall pick Brandon Miller said George was his GOAT.

That took a lot of people by surprise and Miller was crushed for that take.

Yet all he was trying to say is George is his favorite player and someone he looks up to.

Miller went on George’s podcast, “Podcast P,” to explain why he’s such a fan of his.

Miller said watching George dunk over Chris “Birdman” Andersen was his favorite highlight.

Miller has a similar play style to George and he is a good person to model his game after.

George has been one of the best two-way players in the league for a while now.

His only issue has been injuries.

George mentioned how he has embraced the idea of being a mentor for the younger players.

He wants to help the younger generation and make the transition to the NBA as easy as possible.

It will be interesting to see how Miller performs in his first NBA season.

Playing in Charlotte alongside LaMelo Ball could give him plenty of opportunities to score.

Miller has all the tools to be a successful NBA player, and he should be in the Rookie of the Year race.
