The Atlanta Braves are on a roll, having just finished off a three-game series sweep over the Miami Marlins at loanDepot Park.

The Braves own the best record in the National League at 22-10 and lead the NL East by six games over the Marlins and the New York Mets.

They’ve managed to win some games without a key bullpen piece in closer Raisel Iglesias.

The veteran right-hander has been on the injured list thanks to a shoulder injury.

However, the 33-year-old will be making his return soon.

On Friday, the Braves reinstated Iglesias from the injured list, announcing a series of roster transactions on Twitter.

The #Braves today returned RHP Raisel Iglesias from his rehabilitation assignment and reinstated him from the injured list after optioning LHP Dylan Dodd to Triple-A Gwinnett following yesterday’s game.

Iglesias was acquired from the Los Angeles Angels at the trade deadline last summer.

He has still yet to throw a pitch this season.

However, that may change on Friday as the Braves return home for a weekend series against the Baltimore Orioles.

Last season, the right-hander posted an 0.34 ERA in 28 appearances after being acquired by the Braves.

For the season, he finished with a 2.47 mark.

The Braves were planning to use Iglesias as their closer after the departure of Kenley Jansen, who signed with the Boston Red Sox.

Iglesias owns a 3.00 ERA over eight seasons since coming to the big leagues with the Cincinnati Reds back in 2015.

Having him back should give the Braves a steady presence at the back end of their bullpen.

The Braves also announced that veteran catcher Travis d’Arnaud would be starting a rehab assignment with Triple-A Gwinnett on Friday.
