The MLB All-Star Game is one game that all baseball fans look forward to.

We get the best of the National League and the best of the American League in a battle for bragging rights.

This is a game for the fans, so fan voting plays a significant role in who starts the game.

The first ballot update has been released and only one player has received over one million votes.

Braves outfielder Ronald Acuna Jr. is the leading vote-getter and is fully deserving of that honor.

According to Talkin’ Baseball, Acuna Jr. leads the National League while Shohei Ohtani leads the American League.

Acuna is the favorite for NL MVP so far this season.

He is finally healthy and having the best season of his career.

The 25-year-old is hitting .331 with 13 home runs and 28 stolen bases.

He could be the first player ever to achieve a 30-home run and 70 steal season.

Another name that appears on the list is Marlins’ second baseman Luis Arraez.

He is trying to do something this year that has not been done since 1941.

That is batting .400 for a full season.

Arraez currently has a batting average of .397 but it will not take much for him to get back over .400.

He has elite bat-to-ball skills and is the best contact hitter in the sport.

Lastly, the one player that needs to be in every All-Star game is Shohei Ohtani.

He is the best player in baseball as he is an elite hitter and pitcher.

Ohtani leads the AL in votes as a Designated Hitter.

You can also bet he will make the team as a pitcher.

It is hard to argue with the results of the first ballot update.
