The Cleveland Cavaliers will need all hands on deck if they want to stand a chance against the Boston Celtics.

They’re fresh off a big win, but we’ve already seen the Celtics bounce back after a loss in Game 2, and they’re more than capable of blowing them out again.

Fortunately for them, it seems like they could have a key reinforcement back for Game 3.

According To ESPN insider Brian Windhorst, there’s a chance that Dean Wade will play (via ESPN Cleveland).

Wade has been out since March 8 with a knee injury, and while the Cavs haven’t shared a lot of information regarding his progress, Windhorst states that he’s been putting in a lot of work to get back on the court.

Also, given his lengthy absence, he might be limited even if he suits up.

Wade is one of the best three-point shooters on the team, and while he doesn’t provide much more on offense, he’s also a willing and intelligent defender who can even protect the rim with his quick hops.

The Cavs are already severely undermanned without Jarrett Allen, who’s been nursing a rib injury and is reportedly still struggling to get his arms up.

JB Bickerstaff’s team has matched up with the Celtics better than most teams, but they’re clearly not in the same tier right now.

Joe Mazzulla’s team has still had some issues closing out games in the playoffs in the past, so the Cavs will always stand a chance for as long as they’re locked in and focused.
