LeBron James isn’t only one of the greatest players in NBA history; he’s also a prime strategist.

He never says or does anything unintentionally, and he’s earned a reputation for being quite a passive-aggressive figure around the league.

Whether it’s getting into power struggles with his coaches, or whatnot, the only thing that James loves more than his family and basketball is being in control.

That’s why the league went absolutely crazy when he decided to show up and sit courtside to watch the Cleveland Cavaliers vs. the Boston Celtics.

With that in mind, ESPN insider Brian Windhorst — who’s covered LeBron’s entire career dating back to high school — claimed that he’s definitely up to something.

Talking on the UNSPORTSMANLIKE Radio Show, Windhorst stated that multiple people around the league were shocked to see James there, recalling when the same thing happened ten years ago when he was playing for the Miami Heat and attended Zydrunas Ilgauskas’ jersey retirement ceremony.

Windhorst reported that was a breaking point in his relationship with Pat Riley, who didn’t like that one bit.

James is expected to opt out of the final year of his contract with the Los Angeles Lakers, so he holds all the cards now.

He knew how social media was going to react after showing up in Cleveland.

Whether he’s going to leave the Lakers or not remains to be seen, but he has plenty of leverage right now.
