The 2023 Denver Broncos will remember Week 3 for the wrong reasons.
They surrendered 70 points to the Miami Dolphins and lost by 50.
The Broncos are on the wrong side of NFL history, as the Dolphins scored ten touchdowns.
Even though it’s just one loss, the effects of such a beatdown can linger.
However, they have 14 regular season games left, giving them much time to do better.
But before they look forward to Week 4 against the Chicago Bears, those in charge owned up to that humiliating defeat at Miami.
“When those things happen, it’s me first. “I’ll fix it quickly. We have to. When your unit plays that way, my first thought is, ‘It’s me and (needing to do) better as a coach and getting guys ready for the challenge,’” Broncos defensive coordinator Vance Joseph said during the team’s Thursday press conference.

Joseph accepted that he did not prepare his team enough for Miami’s speed on offense.
That’s why Tyreek Hill, De’Von Achane, Raheem Mostert, and company gained 726 yards from scrimmage.
The scary part is that Miami won that big without Jaylen Waddle.
Joseph also defended his crew, saying they were giving maximum effort in every play.
With that game behind them, the Broncos defense will channel their energy to their road game against the winless Bears.
One win could also give them the right momentum to turn their fortunes around.
