The Kansas City Chiefs have won the AFC West for eight straight seasons.

With their dominance in mind, it has been difficult for other teams to break through and have success, often frustrating teams and their fanbases.

It could be easy for the other three teams in the division to lose hope, at least, as long as Patrick Mahomes is under center for the Chiefs.

However, the tides seem to be changing, at least for the Denver Broncos.

Despite the team’s record being suboptimal over the past several years, there is a renewed sense of energy and excitement within the fanbase.

As reporter Mike Klis recently highlighted, the Broncos’ attendance for training camp has grown over 25%, and their retail numbers have grown nearly 60%.

Broncos’ training camp attendance up 25.5% compared to last year. Retail camp sales up 57.5% so fans weren’t always sitting on their wallets in the grassy berm. #9sports https://t.co/kPU9Qku0WT

This is an indication that fans not only want to take a look at this team and see how they’re developing, but they’re more than willing to open their pocketbooks, proudly representing their team’s colors.

Repping the Broncos hasn’t exactly been easy in recent years, but there is reason to believe that things are moving in the right direction for this organization.

Bo Nix is looking much better than people expected, and the Broncos have exciting playmakers on both sides of the ball.

The Broncos might not have what it takes to overcome the Chiefs this season, but, unlike previous years, they might be able to be pesky enough to frustrate them and make their road to a division title more difficult.
